It's been two months since Biden was declared the winner in a blowout. Since then Trump has had literally zero chance of overturning the election. Yet the panickers on our side have been henpecking us nonstop, every step of the way, over imaginary doomsday scenarios. ENOUGH.
These past two months have been FUCKING MISERABLE. Not because of Trump's election antics, which have been shameful, but entirely expected, and have had zero impact. It's been miserable because of the panickers on our side. Absolutely miserable.
I've never really liked being a political analyst; I do it because people tell me I'm good at it. But these past two months have caused me to FUCKING HATE being a political analyst – and it's entirely because of the doomsday panickers on our side. It's literally fucking insane.
I always knew Biden would win, and it wouldn't be close. But I never imagined a scenario where after Biden won, so many of you would go into a clinically insane mindset where you're more convinced than ever that Trump will somehow magically defeat us. It's rubber room behavior.
There's never an excuse to panic over things you know are imaginary, and there's CERTAINLY never an excuse to try to hector others into panicking over things that you know are imaginary. It's literally insane. You need mental help, not political analysis.
Our side has had far too little focus on the Georgia runoffs, and almost no focus on shaping the Biden administration. Instead it's all just panic, fret, panic, fret, panic, fret. What the fuck happened to some of you, since the election? It's just disturbing.
