Loving the new Queensbridge road cycle lanes in Hackney. Bravo @jonburkeUK @hackneycouncil & @hackney_cycling for campaigning for them.
Combined with modal filters, tiger crossings and continuous pavement too. Shows perfectly who's prioritised first.
The rest of my journey home was uneventful on CS1 (sorry no pics), before stress free crossing of London Bridge, followed by the lovely new Cycleway 4 (pictured here on Tooley Street). Nice and wide allowing people to overtake those on cargo bikes without issue.
Even the good bit of Quietway 1 (Edward Street) felt relaxing. Unfortunately same can't be said for Deptford Church street and Lewisham Town centre.
The last bit of the journey involved the A21 (Molesworth street) which is far from perfect southbound, and then followed by 2 close passes on Leahurst road and Manor Lane in the watered down #LeeGreenLTN .
Thankfully got to the top of Burnt Ash Hill with 2km range left on the battery.
Whoever thinks e-bikes are cheating, try riding 50kg of Bakfiets around London for a day. Those @pedalmeapp riders must have legs of steel!
