1) More teams participate in the Europa League so it is a bigger competition.
2) The qualification for UCL requires a top 4 place, which means there are spots out of 20.
That means the probability of qualifying for UCL is (4/20)= 1/5.
However, only 5th place can qualify for UEL. So there is only one favourable case. Therefore probability of playing UEL is 1/20.

This means Europa League is (1/20 / 1/5) = 4 times better and tougher competition than Champions League.
3) The Anthem

Compare these two anthems.

Europa:
Champions League:
It is clearly seen that the europa one is more premium and UEFA puts more money in it, it means they value Europa League higher.
