Another Mikey stats dive (courtesy of @FFScout members area and @FFH_HQ: Kane vs Vardy!
A lot of managers are looking to jump off Spurs attack and Leicester have a very enticing run of fixtures including facing a weakened Liverpool defence in GW9. Time for a Vardy party? (1/9)

There has been an argument that Vardy is highly reliant on pens for his goals, which is true. 5 of Vardy's 8 goals have been pens:
Overall xG: 6.5 v 7.3
Overall xG Non Pen: 4.93 v 2.57
Surely this isn't sustainable.....right? (3/9)

Well, you'd think the simple answer is yes. Penalties have been thrown around like confetti this season right?

Aside from the Kilman 'handball', all of Leicester's penalties have been awarded for tackles in the box. In all of these, you could argue poor defending and/or clever play (5/9)
The teams they conceded pens against: West Brom(2), Man City(3!), Leeds(1), Wolves(2).
Teams Leicester face in next 5 fixtures:
LIV FUL SHU BHA EVE
More penalties? (6/9)

Let's not write off Kane just yet. Kane has a fine record versus teams he faces in next 5 fixtures:
Man City: 2 goals in 8 PL appearances
Chelsea: 4 in 10
Arsenal: 10 in 11
Palace: 4 in 12
Liverpool: 6 in 10
Kane is capable against anyone (7/9)

CONCLUSION: as always, it depends on your setup
If you are looking for some gains, Vardy captaincy in upcoming fixtures looks good. For my own FPL team, I have other issues so will stick with Kane although I am unlikely to captain him. But he is still a captaincy option (8/9)
