adopt to stigmatize the incredibly popular program that is #medicareforall. BUT... "defund the police" & "abolish the police" are not good slogans. I don't know what the better slogan is but people support funding and re-investing in programs that have been slashed & whose...
functions have dangerously & harmfully been outsourced to the police. When you explain that police are doing jobs for which they're not trained, which strains, kills and endangers communities, they support reinvesting the resources.
