I see a lot of people saying "now is the time to extend an olive branch to Trump supporters", and I& #39;ll illustrate why that makes me angry with yet another NYTimes article following a Trump voter that you should absolutely not click on and give more views.

The cruelty is the point.

The cruelty is all they have.

The cruelty is what they take pride in.

The cruelty is part of what they consider to be "the good old days".

People like this won& #39;t change with kindness. They consider kindness a weakness.
