While i remain unconvinced there will be mass rioting that spills over from major metro areas, you should all have a plan. Have a designated meeting point for your family/team at a set time to be activated in case comms are lost. Have bags packed. Documents secured
Much better to waste a few hours of prep work (with the added benefit of a good inspection on gear that may have been in a safe or closet for a long while) on a plan that never needs to be activated than wish you had
Fill your tank on Monday
If you live with family and have multiple vehicles, designate your most capable and back it into your garage or driveway. If In an apartment, wake up early and get the best street spot possible on Monday. Stock with water and nonperishables. Leave the fun gear locked in the house
Have at least three routes planned out to where you’re going. For my LA area mutuals, south then east. I’ll give you a hint too, Glendora mountain road is generally closed but a pair of bolt cutters will fix that. It’ll get you as far as wrightwood if the 15 is fucked.
Wouldnt leverage that option without a capable vehicle with decent ground clearance though. Parts of the road are washed out iirc, but that could work to your advantage
