The use of dual coding during the instruction phase of a lesson. What do teachers feel works best - using pre-prepared diagrams or drawing them as you explain. Planning lessons using slides I made last year and wondering if I would do better to hand draw them as I explain? 1/2

On the plus side the use of @nounproject icons makes my diagrams slick and clear, better than my hand drawings but wondering if students looking at a completed diagram from the outset is adding to load on their working memory and thus impacting on their understanding. @olicav 2/2
