im up to some point in xyz arc and im getting really tired of yuuyas non existent development why couldnt shingo be the protag instead
there are FAR more interesting characters and storylines i would be interested in than... whatever the hell this is
heres my main gripe. its fine to be like "even if times are hard remember to smile and itll get easier" but yuuya goes too far and when someone challenges this idea he would SEEM to learn something but then a couple episodes later it would be all undone
he never tries to see things from other peoples perspective and he never learns or changes. some of his duels make me extremely uncomfortable bc of how uncomfortable he makes his opponent. hell shingo is infinitely more fun to watch as a dueltainer and he ripped that off of yuuya
its not like people didnt try to help him understand/not enable him but for some reason he NEVER learns anything. good lord im cringing thru the yuuya vs edo 2nd duel now i wish this would end
sorry for this thread but they rly fucked up with the whole mixing egao with Inter Dimensional War thing it just doesnt go well at all. can i please see serena now
im rly mad even yuusei didnt frustrate me this much when i watched 5ds bc even tho he didnt rly grow much he was still reasonable when times are tough. but yuuyas arc is non existent and frustrating to watch
