I just sent the above tweet & suddenly think I have an answer: The *west* coast of Florida (the Gulf coast), is often described as having the retirees from the Midwest, whereas retirees from the Northeast tend to go to Florida& #39;s Atlantic coast. So that might be the connection?

In other words: #BidenHarris2020 thinking Pete will have an especially receptive audience with older Midwesterners. (I note that @BryanBlessey said Tampa/St Pete has a relatively younger populace than the Miami area, but still, many older folks.)
