Jersey City, do you care about affordable housing?

If you get Mayor Fulop& #39;s emails, you probably know that City Council is on the verge of passing an "affordable housing" bill. Unfortunately, this bill is a wolf in sheep& #39;s clothing: it& #39;s a gift to developers masquerading as progressive policy.

Some problems:
- Developers can buy their way out of it
- Developers can create "separate but equal" housing
- Developers can build amenities instead
- The Council can waive it just because.

So what can you do to help JC get real affordable housing? Three things, in order of difficulty:

1. Sign this petition. (FYI: I DGAF about Lavarro& #39;s beef with Fulop one way or the other - I care about the ordinance. But Lavarro is leading the charge)
