do you ever realize that technically animals can understand languages

like, y& #39;know, if you talk to your cat or to your dog in a language (especially when you give orders like "come here", "stop that" in a peculiar language) then they& #39;re technically understanding the language because they may not understand the same thing in a different language...?

it makes me laugh though because after ten years they must think that various insults are actually compliments because I call them stuff like "little shit" with a high pitched voice while petting them and fawning all over them
