Thread Impeachment process :

Atleast 100 Mps from loksabha and 50 Mps from Rajyasabha should initiate a motion in Both houses

LS Speaker or chairman of Rajyasabha may/mayn& #39;t accept it

If LS speaker or RS Chairman don& #39;t accept their motion

Even if Loksabha speaker, Rajyasabha chairman accept their motion

They will initiate a 3 member committee to investigate on allegations who are ex judges and CJI and Jurist

if allegations proven false , matter collapse motion failed

If allegations proven true

To pass the motion it need special majority in both houses 2/3rd should be present and majority should vote for impeachment in both the houses

Will BJP vote for this ?

In the history of independent india no Supreme court or high court judge got impeached , because it& #39;s a rigid process and executive don& #39;t have that dare to carry it

Only once During 1991 V.Ramaswami faced this process and allegations against him are proved true and during voting congress voted against impeachment and motion failed
