HOW TO PROPERLY COMMENT ON PEOPLE& #39;S ARTWORKS:
there are two (2) ways to do this that DON& #39;T include quote retweeting because it takes away the attention from the creator and is similar to reposting art. very bad. don& #39;t quote retweet art.

                        1. replying
pretty straightforward and doesn& #39;t need much explanation. you like the piece? send artist a reply under the original tweet and thank them/express your thoughts on it. important: don& #39;t be an ass or a weirdo.

                        2. lrt / last retweet
a lil bit tricky for many non-artists.
basically, if you want to comment on art but DON& #39;T want to reply to artist directly (maybe just sharing thoughts with your followers) you can:
retweet the original tweet

tweet "LRT (insert your thoughts here)" next

                        what "LRT" method does:
- saves you from bothering the artist when you just want to ramble/etc
- doesn& #39;t take away from artist& #39;s total engagements which they& #39;re entitled to, because it& #39;s THEIR work, duh
- urges people to look at your account more (for context)

with twitter& #39;s bullshit it& #39;s unclear whether simply retweeting is prohibited completely or not and it shouldn& #39;t be permanent? so this thread will come in handy eventually either way
many people don& #39;t know/don& #39;t quite understand the LRT method and it& #39;s ok, that& #39;s why i wrote this
