When I was elected student govt president at #UGA (as only the 3rd Black student body president in the school’s 225 year history), I could not have imagined - 10 years later - @universityofga embarrassing us this badly on a daily basis.

WTF is going on there?

1. The failure to adequately respond to the concerns of Black students/faculty about a racist culture
2. Being #1 in COVID cases, while forcing students to campus/class/dorms & having a football season
3. Disregard for the lives in Athens residents
4. Vote disenfranchisement

I say this as a concerned alum, UGA is punching itself in the face & ruining its reputation in front of the nation. It’s heartbreaking to see #UGA plummet like this.

@BORUSG & @BrianKempGA own some blame, but leadership matters & it’s time for a change.
