#SPLM_PARTY to the Dustbin.

#SPLM is party characterised by #miseries & #sufferings in the view of many #SouthSudanese.
In 1983 when the party was formed as guerilla movement, it's main objective was to fight on behalf of the marginalized groups of Sudan.........1/15
.... esp Southerners who were excluded from decision making on Khartoum by successive regimes since 1956.

So, soon after the movement was established in it based in Eastern Jikany almost within Ethiopian border, the Nuer massacre by SPLA/M started.

More than 7000 civilians were displaced & hundreds killed mostly children, elderly & women.

That conflict started as a disagreement btn former Anya Anya II leaders & seasonal SPLM/A leaders on who is more qualified to steer the ship, but later turned against civilians.

In 1987 after the graduation of 2nd divsion(Name withheld) on their way from Eastern part of SS to Central, the guerillas killed more than 150 Youth in Akobo, Waat & Wurror counties who were simply resisting recruitment process decreed by the their leaders in .....4/15

The same division attacked civilians in Ayod, Duk & Fangak counties respectively.

Dr Garang & the two armies were spite against one another in one of the worst conflict one could see.
Civilians were killed by both armies along ethnic lines such as the known Bor massacre with thousands ppl allegedly killed & resulting in displacement of thousands more.

In #Equatoria, ppl were also displaced from their homes esp in Eastern Equatoria in the 90s after the break away of Nasir Faction.

There were reports of displacements of Civilians in Bahar El Gazhal, but it's magnitude was unknown because of insignificant presence of SPLA...7/15

In Unity State, the fighting between the two parties killed hundreds & also characterized by massive displacements in 1997. Hundreds were also killed by hunger.

In 2000-2002, the parties reunited months proceeding to the agreement(CPA) being signed.

Instead of focusing their energy on reconciling the people & also apologizing to SSese because of the crimes they have committed, the United SPLM solely focused their attention on how to run the South & their would be partipantion in Khartoum.

From 2005-2011, the SPLA abetted by it proxy the SPLM continue to displaced & killed civilians but, this time in low profile cases avoiding scrutiny from the public.

In 2012, the SPLA together with it's sisters in crimes(NSS & Police) went back to old ways in Wau...10/15
...killing civilians who were simply protesting the transfer of their county headquarters to Baggari. More than 25 ppl were killed & more than 60 ppl injured according to Amnesty In'nal.

In 2013, the party took the country back to war the to an internal disagreement.

Civilians were massacred in proportional never seen before In South Sudan.

According to AU inquiry in 2014, more than 10,000 ppl were massacred in Juba and it's surrounding suburbs alone.
Ten of thousands displaced to UN houses seeking protection. The conflict like many before have taken the ethnic turn.

Civillians were also targeted in Bor, Malakal & Unity state along ethnic lines characterized by constant reprisals attacks.

The entire country slided back into civil War. Civillians killed & displaced in proportion never seen in South Sudan history with SPLA (Now SSPDF) 14/15
..acting with impunity ignoring all war/humanitarian law. In 2016, the SPLA during the war committed worst crimes yet in both Upper Nile & Equatoria displaced, rape & gang rape women & little girls as weapon of war. Boys were also castrated by the SPLA In Unity State.

Conclusion: with the above mentioned atrocities and many more unmentioned, the #SPLM as party deserved to be at the Dustbin of history be & rejected by the South Sudanese it inhumanely treated.
