This is an intimate post. But if it encourages even one person to go for a Smear test or helps one person it will be worth it.
I wasn’t going to bother going for my routine smear but I thought I’d better.

When clinics resumed I got a Colposcopy/biopsies taken and LLETZ treatment done as high grade CIN3 cells were found, and if untreated can become cancerous. I wasn’t prepared for all this I felt really scared and alone, and I’ve had a horrid nearly 5 weeks waiting on the results.
I found out yesterday that I’m OKAY but I’ll be checked again in 5/6 months to see where I’m at, but for now that’s good enough for me.
I wanted to share this as I am now going to be a smear test bore. I know for many women cervical screening may not be such an easy feat.

It can literally save your life.
