The steering committee report suggests that the proposed oversight body should prioritise a review of other professions (including #emergency #medical assistants ( #paramedics) for regulation under the Health Professions Act. @BC_EHS #health #EMS @ChiefMNolan

Based on having a regulatory model with a shared philosophy of #interdisciplinary care, #paramedicine might be regulated under the HPAct by one of the six proposed regulatory colleges through a profession-specific council to ensure specific expertise & professional context. #EMS
