Lo Celso hasn't looked a brilliant FPL asset since joining Spurs last summer. In the 28 games he's played he has registered just 3 assists, though all of those came since the post-Covid break return. At 7 million, he's definitely one to avoid!

Lucas Moura is a good player but not a reliable Fantasy asset. Between GW17 and GW37 he got 1 assist despite playing the majority of all but 3 games. If Son or Kane get injured and he plays up top he could be good value, but otherwise, avoid.

One of the highest scoring players on this list, @HinduMonkey's favourite would be a great pick if he could just get more minutes. He only played 90 minutes 5 times last season, and at 7 million he's probably not worth the risk. Pity.

James Maddison seemingly had quite a subdued 19/20 season, despite actually only scoring 12 less points than the year before. He's still on non-penalty set pieces and with decent starting fixtures I reckon he could be a great differential to start with!

City's new Sane replacement. The 20 year old was signed from Valencia, where he looked quite a good player, a few weeks ago. Will he go straight into Pep's team? No. Is it worth considering him for your team? Absolutely not!

Ancelotti's 4-4-2 system doesn't seem to be working too well for Sigurdsson. After a brilliant 18/19 season, the 30 year old only returned 6 times last season. If Everton sell him to another Prem team he may be worth another look, but at the moment he is definitely a no-go!

Zaha will probably be leaving Palace this summer, and with Arsenal recently signing Willian, a move abroad is probably he's best bet if he wants European football. If he does stay at Palace though he will play 90 mins every week, but they blanked in 6 of their last 8 games.

After a brilliant start, Mount's season rather petered out about halfway through, managing just 2 returns since the restart (both in GW38 against Wolves) despite Chelsea scoring 18 goals. Will he get consistent minutes among Chelsea's new signings? Wait and see for me.

I can't stand this guy, and I refuse to own him. But he was the highest scoring player out of this lot last season and he is definitely Villa's talisman, if he stays. However, he only managed 1 goal after the restart, Villa don't have a GW1 fixture and their attack is poor.

I really like this kid! Question is does Mourinho? He only played over 60 minutes once since the restart and averaged just over half an hour per match. He's hard working and could be a fantastic differential if he cements a place in the team, but for now I've got to say...

Greenwood had a brilliant post restart period with 5 goals and 1 assist and starting the last 8 in a row. Good early fixtures too apart from the GW1 blank. He is massively outperforming his xG though and his place could be under threat if United sign someone like Sancho.

Coming off a great 18/19 season, B.Silva had quite an average 19/20, often struggling for game time, playing over 820 minutes less than in 18/19. He also only got 3 assists since the restart despite City scoring 34 goals! Wouldn't recommend unless he rediscovers his form.
So, the forgotten midfielders... and seemingly for good reason. Yes there's a couple of decent options in there (Maddison and Greenwood probably the best 2), but overall this price point really is...
