Reminder: deadline is 1 week out. Enigma is a fantastic conference, please get your talk submissions in.

As someone who has submitted a talk to literally two conferences thus far, a heads-up to those who haven't: I thought it was scarier than it was. đŸ§” https://twitter.com/enigmaconf/status/1270389823707189253
Here's the goal of your talk submission:
1. Let us know what the point of your talk is and why it matters, like how my talk in 2020 was about the concept of respect in building products and systems, barriers to it on technical, emotional, and organization levels, and fixes.
2. Give us enough detail so that we can evaluate the ideas. For example, if you want to talk about incident response, just going "incident response is hard" isn't enough for us to guess what of the many ways it's hard you want to talk about and to evaluate whether it's insightful
3. Help us know that you're a good speaker. We want speakers who will convey their points compellingly. If you have a video of you giving a talk, that's fantastic. If you don't, either make one or give us some kind of other reason to know how good of a speaker you are.
We'll help you with your talk (all speakers are required to practice with the session chairs), but we would like to know that you'll have engaging content and interesting delivery. 😁

So that's it. Go ahead and submit a talk. I'm looking forward to seeing it.
