My new price for a 10 day supply of Insulin and test strips: $554

I need to pay $554 every 10 days just to stay alive. What in the actual fuck is wrong with the world?

I feel validated and supported by all the people on this thread. To everyone reaching out to offer me vials of insulin and test strips: thank you! Fortunately, I have what I need right now.

However, if this could turn into a productive discussion about how to fix this problem that impacts way too many people, I think it would be healthy.

Obviously there are many people and things to blame for this, and I feel as if I hear more talk about who’s fault it is rather than talk about how to fix this issue. I am open to all kinds of ideas and I’m looking forward to hearing from people on how we can work towards change!
