so are we all exposing kumori now??

myself and other employees have not gotten paid for hours we’ve worked, we’ve gone to help out at other kumori’s/ events and we never see that money, and if you try to take it up with HR they’ll ignore you and fire you just to get out of having to pay you

i’ve been there 3 years and the amount of times that this has happened to my coworkers is fkn frustrating. people have bills to pay, kids to maintain and kumori withholds our money that we worked for.

one time we got paid “too much” in our checks and they made all of us give money back, like how shady is that. i literaly gave $120 back from my check. i asked my manager at the time why this happened and he claimed he didn’t know anything and that we just needed to give it back

one time they made us work like a month with no a/c and it was HOT. and one of my coworkers literally passed out and they still had us there

they underpay us we went from earning 7.25 to 5.25 like IN the middle of this pandemic. like yeah sure just cut our pay!!!!

they increased our tipshare percentage so we have to give more money than we used to. that tipshare is supposed to go to our hosts/bartenders/ busboys and sometimes we don’t have them and it’s just servers doing everything and they still take it even thought we did all the work

my friend messaged our area manager trying to discuss her check. “i think u secretly like it when your check is messed up so u have an excuse to text me” and “im very needy” is what he said. LIKE HOW GROSS and inappropriate can you be.

DONT SUPPORT THEM THEYRE SUPER SHADY AND DONT CARE ABOUT THEIR EMPLOYEES.
