Last week, someone tested positive for covid so I needed to organize his trip to the isolation centre. I called the main NCDC number and they gave me about seven (7) numbers to call for Lagos emergencies. I called these numbers for over an hour.

No one answered. Phones just kept ringing. Two of the numbers kept "number busying" me. I called and called ehn. Finally, after over an hour, one very rude man with terrible tenses answered. I kept thinking to myself, what if it was me who was terribly sick and dying?

What if I was so ill and didn& #39;t have enough strength to keep dialling for over an hour? What if my battery died after 20 minutes? These are eMerGENcY numbers.

We eventually had to organize a private ambulance for him sha and paid 250k from Ikeja to Yaba. @NCDCgov you people are a big joke with your foolish incorrect figures because if your people are not answering the phones, how will you get correct figures?
