This makes me totally re-evaluate the source of 1960s housing affordability. What if homebuilders sold homes cheaper because they had competition that they now lack?!
I think this paper is important, so I’m going to share key slides for people who don’t want to read a pdf on a phone
Anyhow, these were the slides that interested me most, but this is a major paper if you like housing policy.
