finally caved and bought some of the 2020 oscar nominated short films and i’m THREE minutes into the first one and am already BLOWN AWAY how are people so TALENTED and COOL i want them to make MORE THINGS
update: we’re 1 for 1 for making me cry
2/2 how can they do so much so quickly
3/3 this one has been the saddest so far
i haven’t stayed on top of this thread but i kept waiting for the neighbor’s window to take a much harder / black mirror turn and i’m glad i wasn’t spooked but i feel like i have a ton of bricks on my chest that was really really good
the trend we’re seeing here is that anything animated will make me cry and the live action ones are still powerful but don’t have that response?
