I just got this message from a friend in Sweden: ‘we are not allowed to go to a doctor if we have covid. if we get to the hospital and we are not dying right away they will send us back home often untested (including x-ray, which is not offered) always without therapy/follow up.’

My friend is originally from Italy and is sincerely disappointed in the Swedish health care system. She has been unwell for 7 weeks w/ fever, pain chest, difficulties breathing. She wishes to get a test for covid19, but is refused. How is this appropriate care in modern #sweden?
