Sorry for anyone waiting around for that pun-filled 2nd half.

Well - I say that - but then I remembered the A/C is broken in the basement and that the guy who can fix it is... ME.

And now (apparently) that& #39;s sorted. At least cool air is coming out and the filter is not getting chopped up by the blower.

But (of course) the compressor outside is making a horrendous noise now - so... that& #39;s a service call. <sigh>
