when i share bad news on trans stuff now, past a certain follower count, i always see folk replying or QTing with "i hate myself", "i want to die" and "this is going to kill people"
i try to be a lot more responsible with how i share stuff now. i wish you would too.

we all react in our own way, process in our own way. we need to share in grief. i don& #39;t really know how to manage this well.
i think there& #39;s a tendency to live stuck in the badness, to identify with it.
how many RTs does the bad news get, how many the mutual aid project?

i don& #39;t have the answers but when sharing bad shit i try to do these things:
- also share resources and ideas for dealing with the bad shit
- say something useful about it rather than just revelling in the anger
- share expressions of solidarity without downplaying the badness
