I have personally decided not to financially donate or accept speaking engagements at #emmanuelcollege until further notice.
@pinheiroadam and @nick_verdini have EVERY RIGHT to express and celebrate their love at the college that brought them together.
Especially in the season of #easter I am disappointed @EmmanuelCollege has decided to deny this request by two alumni who have done so much for the college AND have represented the college in multiple ways as @EmmanuelAlumni .
#loveislove and for a college who says they do “not tolerate racism, sexism, classism or discrimination based on sexual orientation” {direct from their website} seem so be doing just that!
How is it I, as a #ecalumni could get married at the college and celebrate my love with a male partner who is non-denominational but other alumni do not have this right.
