What with all the plagues and whatnot, it& #39;s been hard for me to focus on Passover. I finally finished my haggadah revisions this morning, putting in some more plague content, and, thanks to Covid, finally getting Miriam& #39;s Cup to where I want it to be.

I also added, thanks to @dove_kent, a paragraph from Yoruba poet and philosopher Bayo Akomolafe about how "your life’s work is an intergenerational project" and a brief discussion of handwashing as democratic action via @IanPBeacock& #39;s article on Angela Merkel.

(I also cut some of the more tedious sections from the 1900 Bundist haggadah that& #39;s at the heart of mine, but now I fear that too much of that is gone and next year I& #39;ll have to restore it.)

This thread makes me think about what a rich story Exodus is. How many different themes, how much there is to reckon with. https://twitter.com/ewzucker/status/1247642429211230209?s=20">https://twitter.com/ewzucker/...
