Imo the phrase "I said what I said" has over time somehow been associated with an immediate sense of correctness once tweeted, when in fact all it means is that you stand by what you say and you& #39;re not hiding from that. There& #39;s nothing to be proud of by saying i sAiD whAt I sAiD

when what you& #39;re saying discriminates against another person or a minority.
Its a lazy and cowardly way of downplaying your actions/words.

What you can be proud of tho is admitting that you& #39;re incorrect/unsure of something and seeking clarification or education on the matter

Hold your friends AND yourselves accountable. Its 2020, knowledge is easily accessible, if you can take the initiative to say sth, you should be able to direct the same energy into educating yourself on the matter as well.
