Imo the phrase "I said what I said" has over time somehow been associated with an immediate sense of correctness once tweeted, when in fact all it means is that you stand by what you say and you& #39;re not hiding from that. Its a lazy and cowardly way of downplaying your actions/words.

                        Hold your friends AND yourselves accountable.
