you can create drama without jealousy and love triangles, they could talk about their insecurities and be like “oh you deserve better than me” or whatever, like they would really level up the standards (more than they already have) for couples on tv

we could have gilbert being afraid of losing her just like he lost his family, we could have anne talking with him about being afraid she’s stopping him from not being a country doctor... and then they talking through all of this

we already had a love triangle, which was very well written btw the writers could explore their relationship in so many other levels
