Going off of my Starscream/Deathsaurus idea from yesterday, please imagine Deathsaurus having always had a peculiar interest in Starscream because he considered him the one most hurt by their former leader. So he allows Starscream to lead an expedition and is blown away by him

Deathsaurus feels so marvelous seeing Starscream be such a good commander in his own right (and so beautiful slaying organice), he can’t help but be so much more interested in that subtle glow that is slowly creeping into Starscream’s being every day that passes on the Warworld

I just live for the image of Starscream becoming an absolute equal to Deathsaurus once they officially get together. His word is as powerful as Deathsaurus’ to the point their troops absolutely trust Starscream as well, and he’s happy leading his new people alongside Deathsaurus
