ngl but one thing that annoys me about a lot of fe fans (esp the cishet dudes that play) is how they talk about whether a character is good or not when they really mean whether they are good as a playable unit.

I know it sounds nitpicky but theres a HUGE difference here!

like a character can be poorly written and one dimensional but still tear shit up on the battlefield, I just wish these geeks said good units instead of good characters.

what fueled this thread is taking a peek at fire emblem yt videos or forum discussions and getting disappointed that the character analysis I was hoping for is actually a unit rating convo
