Everyone says "reach out, get help" but what happens when the "help" you need is a steady income or help with devastaitng medical bills or job security or rent that won't wipe out your savings or being able to not live paycheck to paycheck or a building that's accessible or
my point (as a depressed person on necessary medication) is that suicide is driven by a lot more than depression. It's people looking at ABSOLUTELY OBJECTIVE, REAL SITUATIONS draining and oppressing them that won't STOP with medication or therapy.
"reach out get help" won't do a thing when it is your ACTUAL LIFE CIRCUMSTANCES killing you, not a chemical imbalance (which may exacerbate them, or the other way around)
This is taking off, so here's a reminder that the BEST way for you to support me, your local queer/trans/disabled/neurodivergent creator writing totally freaking awesome books and games is to pledge here and get Awesome Stuff (and gratitude) in return. https://www.patreon.com/RoAnnaSylver
