Decided to take a break from work, social platforms and from the hustle & bustle of the city for a while. Took the time to go on a walk, letting go of worries & concerns, and spending time in thought, organizing them. It didn& #39;t rain and it wasn& #39;t too hot.
I& #39;m always on the move, working full shifts every single day with just Sunday being an off day. Yet I& #39;m still occupied that whole day w/ church.
There never really is a PROPER day off for me unless I& #39;m sick hahahah so it was nice to at least have one even just for a few mins/hrs.
With just music, the scenery, my phone to take some pics, and my thoughts. Feels therapeutic, somehow. Maybe I& #39;m selfish for wanting time for myself but sometimes it& #39;s in these moments where I gain insight into who I am as an individual.
Days of interacting, communicating & exerting energy towards others, I too, long to be at rest with myself & my thoughts. If I deny my need of alone time, I& #39;m denying myself of love & in turn, love to others. I& #39;m taking time to give myself what I need to be the best version of me
